Many people find the idea of joining a gym a chore and if they are a member of a gym, the idea of getting up off the sofa and going to the gym, hard work and have a lack of motivation. The gym is all well and good and for many, is ideal to use in their every days lives but there is a more fun way to exercise and the trampoline is it.   You do no need to exercise for long each day, forty minutes is ideal with any longer than this giving way to boredom or people finding exercises to stop. With a trampoline, it can be very easy to let time fly with the fun factor taking over and that “just one more bounce” situation no matter how young and old we are. Kids are especially prone to being able to use a trampoline, sometimes hours at a time if they have friends over. Children seem to come up with the most imaginative games to play on their trampoline with each bounce giving them excellent exercise but also improving their coordination and overall aerobic stamina.

When it comes to us adults, the trampoline is a ideal way to exercise when we set aside the time to do good for ourselves. A garden trampoline is ideal with many models available and excellent prices. Jumping on a trampoline has been said by NASA to be one of the best ways to exercise and is used by astronauts so defiantly a recommended method to loose weight, stay trim, tone up and have fun to.

The whole body gets involved when you exercise on a trampoline and much better for the joints than running on concrete as you do see many people jogging outdoors. When you jump, you are using both your legs and your arms with the legs doing most of the work but you are also using your arms for extra push but also for balance so working all the muscles in both the legs and arms even if you do not realise it.

When you land from bouncing on a trampoline, you again are using all parts of the body for balance and to stop down which is done by bending the knees. Overtime your muscles will become toned which assists in weight loss as muscle in itself needs fuel which is used by the fat stores in your body so the more toned you are, the easier it is to stay slim. Coordination is a important factor when jumping on a trampoline as the last thing you want to do is fall off, although many trampolines now come with a safety enclose but this is not always the case.

If you do not want to be seen exercising outdoors then another option is the mini trampoline. These are very small and span about a meter in diameter and can be used in the front room. Jumpking on a mini trampoline takes more effort than you may think, especially with balance and coordination and best of all, superb exercise.

If you are looking to loose weight then a trampoline is defiantly recommended with a 15ft Oval Jumpking Trampoline becoming very popular for many families due to fact that its completely different to a round or rectangular trampoline but also, it fits in odd shaped gardens much easier
